  • Central Park: a few minutes’ walk east.
  • Midtown: about 20 minutes by subway to Times Square.

Who can stay

According to the hostel’s FAQ, accommodation is only for travelers who live outside New York City. Reception is open 24 hours, and quiet hours run from 11pm to 8am. As in most US hostels, expect to show a valid photo ID at check-in.

Rooms

Dorms of different sizes (four to twelve beds have been listed) and a limited number of private rooms. Bigger dorms are cheaper; smaller ones are quieter. Private rooms sell out first in summer.

If it’s full: the same area has other budget options, and Midtown hostels are only a few subway stops away. Compare on the New York hostels page.
